This isn't a Granny Square but it is a square that I really like to make. It is called a Snowflake Square. I should have placed it on a white fabric so it would have shown up better. The outside color is deep blue, surrounding the white center. This one takes a little longer than the regular granny does, I HOPE to make an afghan using this square as a Christmas gift. We'll wait and see if I get it done or not 8>)

Snowflake

Oh that's so pretty! I made 1 of the same squares 2 years ago using Red, I planned on making more for a Christmas afghan but never got around to it. too many projects going at once you know..... One of these days I will make it. HERE is a link to the photo of my snowflake square.
