Pink Ripple Cardie

Hi everyone!

It's nice to be here. (I used to love reading and contributing to the old Granny Along.)

Here's my Chevron Lace Cardigan.
It isn't completely finished yet (and, actually, I've put it to one side because it's too cold to wear it in Australia right now) but I though I'd show it anyway because it's such so fabulously quick to make. It's a free pattern too!

This is it left open:

and closed with an organza ribbon:

I haven't decided on how to close it yet ~ I'm thinking about making a floral pin to finish it, something like the one from Interweave's Spiderweb Cardigan, or I might rework the edge and close it around the bust line.

There's more information on my blog, inkberryblue, if you'd like to visit.

Thanks for organising this, Pattie.

This is so pretty! Maybe create a vintage pin closure? ~Kelly

Thanks Kelly ~ what a good idea! I have a little marcasite brooch that I might try. =]

That's gorgeous!!! Love the color!! I've never tried to crochet any clothing for myself, only blankets... I should try it one of these days!

Don't you look great! I love the sweater, and I would have chosen photo 1 as my favorite. I love that bracelet too!
